Batten Opposed Teacher Pay Raises
Batten opposed paying our teachers more and tried to send public tax dollars–your money–to unaccountable private and religious schools.1
Batten Voted to Keep Prescription Drugs Unaffordable
Batten is making healthcare more expensive by voting against measures that would lower prescription drug costs and against funding Medicaid for Virginians, including seniors and veterans.3
Batten Voted to Make Housing More Expensive
More than a dozen times, Batten voted to make housing less affordable, siding with banks and lenders over homeowners and renters in our community.2
Batten Pledged to Ban Abortion
Batten pledged to vote “100% pro-life” and to ban abortion with no exceptions, even voting to take away access to birth control and jail women and doctors for seeking reproductive care.4
